Alpacas' fur is warm and soft and is used to
line luxury clothing and carpets.
They are shorn once a year and weigh about 3 kilograms.
They look a lot like llamas but are a little smaller and have a lot more hair.
Their coats are about 50 centimeters long and
come in colors like black, brown, white, and even patterned.
Alpacas can spit when they are frightened or in pain,
so be careful when approaching them!
